David and Adina Lebor will lead our tour with over two decades of experience leading Jewish groups all over the world.

We will have local guides and naturalists on the ship, who are experts in their field.

Kosher Riverboat Cruises

Kosher Riverboat Cruises is a great company that has been running high-end cruises for many years. They offer spectacular interactive travel experiences, insightful Jewish history and heritage programming, delicious Glatt kosher cuisine, and first-class service every step of the way. We are very pleased that we will be bringing our groups to be part of these trips.

THE SHIP

The MS Island Sky: The 100-passenger, all-suite vessel is one of the finest small ships in the world and benefits from unusually spacious accommodation, public areas, and outside decks. You will find the atmosphere on board akin to a private yacht or country hotel with a little music in the lounge or bar after dinner, talks from our onboard team, and informative port briefings from your Cruise Director or Expedition Leader. After a day of exploration ashore, you will return to the comfort and peace of a well-run and exceedingly comfortable ship. Along with the Captain and officers and the Noble Caledonia crew of 75 plus the KRC Expedition team, are dedicated to offering you the best possible experience during your time on board. The voyage on the Island Sky proudly continues our traditions of exceptional, personalized expedition experiences as an all-kosher, Jewish community exploring together some of the world’s most unique, pristine, and remote destinations.

THE CUISINE

5***** Glatt Kosher Gourmet Meals prepared by Master Kosher Chef Malcolm Green

3 Meals a day. Plus afternoon tea and a 24-hour Coffee and Tea Corner.

Open Bar with complimentary drinks, cocktails, and wines all day.

THE KASHRUT

  • The kashrut is Mehadrin min Hamehadrin, Glatt Kosher, Cholov Yisrael, and Pat Yisrael under the strictest rabbinical supervision.
  • Two Full-Time Mashgichim for the entire trip.
  • The kitchen and the entire cruise is Glatt Kosher and exclusive for this group.

Antarctica

Antarctica is to be experienced, not just to be seen, and we believe the only way to do this is on board a small ship so as to maximize the time spent ashore. Enjoying the wonders of this icy paradise in the company of a small and enthusiastic party is the perfect way to benefit from a visit to this extraordinary place. Travelling with you on board will be polar expedition experts and naturalists with many years of experience in Antarctica; they will add immeasurably to your experience. While there are ships in Antarctica carrying higher numbers of passengers beyond the 100 guests on board the MS Island Sky, due to the restrictions placed on vessels, limiting the number of passengers allowed to land at any one time, the larger vessels can offer only very restricted landings. The MS Island Sky, however, can follow the strict Antarctic rules and yet have all guests ashore at the same time.

Adina and David’s attention to detail – like providing snacks every two hours – felt almost parental. The delight on their faces when they saw our enjoyment of both the natural and the hotel/food sights, was palpable. They are very giving people and very spiritual. We look forward to traveling with them – and you all – again, iyH.

[To] reinforce what incredible people the Lebors are.

What makes the Lebors so special? The word לב- heart- is contained in the name Lebor-ליבור- everything the Lebors did to ensure the success of this trip and to make us all happy was done בלב שלם- with a full heart. On behalf of all of us, we say תודה רבה and Thank You from the bottom of our Argentinian “hearts.”

…may we all meet in ירושלים הבנויה on a future Lebor trip!

Dear David and Adina,

What a wonderful adventure! We never could have done this on our own. Our thanks for this great experience and wonderful memories.

Yes, the attention to detail, the scenery, and – of course – the food was outstanding, but what made the trip special was you: patient and outwardly calm at all times, and overall wonderful mentschen.

We feel privileged to have met you and spent time together.

We look forward to joining you again in the near future.

We decided to take (a different tour with a different company) this past summer. The only problem was it couldn’t compare to a Lebor program. We found ourselves comparing the way it was run to your program. Hands down Lebor wins.

Lebor Tours trip to Iceland this summer was absolutely amazing! David and Adina are experienced, passionate, energetic tour guides, who love to share their passion of enjoying Hashem’s world with others. Icelands’s numerous landscapes and sights- from waterfalls, geysers, mudpots, lagoons, fjords, rock formations, coastlines, and mountains, were all beyond description. The delicious, abundant, generous food that was served every day would satisfy any type of eater and was beyond delicious! All of us on the tour became one, with a real sense of camaraderie. Some of the attendees sharing their life experiences with us was one of the highlights of Shabbos. David and Adina are organized, enthusiastic, tour guides, who know what it takes to make a successful tour! It will take a long time for us to come down from this incredible high experience!

THE ITINERARY

Day 1 - Monday, December 28, 2026
Embark Ushuaia, Argentina

Upon arrival, airport meet and greet then transfer to our ship as we set sail to the Great White Continent.

Day 2 and 3 - Tuesday and Wednesday, December 29-30, 2026
At Sea - The Drake Passage

Start your voyage with two leisurely days on board.

Attend some lectures, look for wildlife or simply relax as we make our way across the Drake Passage towards Antarctica.

Named after the 16th century English seaman Sir Francis Drake, the Drake Passage separates the southernmost tip of South America from Antarctica.

This is a particularly good area to spot many species of seabirds, including the black-browed albatross, the cape petrel and the Antarctic prion.

We will also be on the lookout for whales.

Days 4-8, Thursday-Monday, December 31, 2026-January 4, 2027
Antarctic Exploration

We have five days of exploration around the Peninsula, which will include many of the best places for viewing the vast biodiversity of Antarctic species and iconic, icy environments from glaciers to enormous tabular icebergs.

We cruise between the South Shetland Islands and the western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, sailing along ice-filled fjords among spectacular icebergs, njoying the company of seabirds, penguins, seals, and whales.

Each day, we disembark by Zodiac boat to explore the landscape together with expert polar guides. On board the ship we’ll enjoy spectacular vistas from the glass-enclosed lounge while sharing our daily adventures with fellow guests.

No two journeys are ever the same, as flexibility is the key to success in Antarctica.

The Expedition Team sets the voyage route in order to take advantage of the ever-changing opportunities provided by nature, crafting a unique and extraordinary experience each time.

While the exact itinerary varies with each expedition, you can explore several spots that offer the best possible overview of the varied Antarctic en vironment.

Your Antarctic cruise may include visits to sites such as Paulet Island, Hope Bay, Port Lockroy, Petermann Island, Paradise Bay, Deception Island, the Lemaire Channel, or many other magnificent places.

Your polar adventure is very fluid and active, with several daily landings and cruises in Zodiac boats, lectures and an altogether enjoyable time on board.

*Our magical Antarctic Shabbat together will take place as we are docked within view of magical icebergs and ice shelves teaming with wildlife.

They can be viewed up close with incredible detail from your cabin balcony and ship’s observation decks.

Days 9-10, Tuesday and Wednesday, January 5-6, 2027
At Sea - The Drake Passage

Enjoy a final leisurely two days on board and reminisce with your fellow travelers about all you have seen and experienced during our expedition.

Keep your cameras and binoculars close as we spot magnificent sea birds, such as albatrosses and petrels scouring our wake, as well as different species of whales on their way south to Antarctica.

Day 11 - Thursday, January 7, 2027
Disembark - Ushuaia to Buenos Aires

Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for our scheduled flight home.
